Not all water pickup is equal — a shop vac and a truck-mount extraction unit produce very different outcomes on the same flooded room.
We classify every loss as Category 1, 2, or 3 before extraction begins, then document readings throughout the job.
Our Purchase, NY truck-mount units pull significantly more water per hour than portable extraction gear.
We identify the contamination category before extraction to determine the correct safety protocol.
We use specialty injection systems designed to dry hardwood from underneath rather than defaulting to tear-out.
You get documented proof of extraction progress, not just a technician's word.
Below is the actual technical scope behind a Water Extraction job in Purchase, NY.
High-volume truck-mount units handle standing water across large areas fast.
Classification testing happens on-site before any extraction equipment starts running.
Carpet and pad get separately assessed — pad usually can't be saved, but carpet often can with fast, thorough extraction.
We monitor injection drying progress with moisture meters calibrated for wood species.
Extraction continues below the surface layer whenever subfloor readings show trapped moisture.
Verification reports give a data-backed answer to whether extraction actually solved the problem.
A quick call helps us determine truck-mount versus portable equipment needs before we arrive.
Equipment is pre-loaded based on dispatch notes, so there's no delay on arrival.
We test and classify the water, then provide a written quote before extraction begins.
Extraction continues until documented moisture readings confirm the job is complete.
"They saved our hardwood floor with an injection drying method instead of ripping it all out. Saved us thousands." — Owen R.
